Meet Bethany
In five years, Bethany Burt had four pregnancies, three emergency c-sections, and spent almost a full year on bed rest. She was physically and emotionally exhausted, and stuck with fifteen extra pounds, despite spending hours doing cardio at the gym every day. She was frustrated, sore, and tired.
She decided to work with a personal trainer and discovered a dynamic new way to train her body. She loved it so much that she decided to get certified, studied nutrition, and attended yoga teacher training. She rapidly lost all of the weight, radically transformed her post-partum body and mind, and got into the best shape of her life!
In 2010 she opened a personal training and yoga studio where she trained clients and taught 20+ classes a week. In 2015, she began teaching fitness classes at VeroFitness, where she has taught Yoga Flow, Yoga for Athletes, PiYo, Buti Yoga, Butts and Guts, and Shred (a class she created based on her personal training style).
Bethany teaches multiple types of yoga and loves the mental and physical benefits of the practice. She utilizes yoga and strength training in her workouts and believes combining the two is key to achieving optimal fitness. She knows that with the right food, exercise, and mindset anyone can achieve their true fitness potential.
Bethany developed Yummy Mummy Fitness to help other postpartum women get back in shape and find a sustainable long-term solution to stay fit and fed! She’s thrilled to be helping others radically transform their bodies (and lives) based on what she’s learned over almost two decades.
